1933
In 1933 IRI (Institute for the Industrial reconstruction) was founded with the aim at re-balance the ruined industrial situations by the world crises of the year 1929 and the Company Terni joined it.
1935
In 1935 a 12,000 tons drop-forge, the biggest in the world, was installed and became a sort of symbol of the company as it had been the tilt-hammer that had completed its cycle in 1910.
1937
The FINSIDER, one of the holdings of the IRI-group, was established for the management of the steel industry shareholdings, and the Terni company, which belonged already to IRI, joined it.
